The Shop

A homesteader's shop, chosen with care

Everything a small homestead needs, from the coop to the pantry shelf. We fill each shelf slowly and honestly: a pick earns its place only when we've used it ourselves or researched it with sources we can show you.

Opening first

The shelves built around life here right now: quail, chickens, and hatching and brooding.

Shelves in progress

Researched shortlists, links coming as we finish.

Animals

Housing, care, milking and everyday gear for the birds and beasts of a small homestead, including keeping them cool through the summer.

Land & Fencing

Fence, protect and work the land with tools that last.

Orchard & Garden

Fruit trees, muscadine vines, kitchen-garden plants and the tools to tend them.

Harvest & Kitchen

From processing day to the pantry shelf: put food by, and put it by well.

How the shop grows

Honest picks first

  1. Curated picks

The best gear in each category, every pick badged Used here or Researched, with paid links clearly marked.

  2. Notes from real use

As gear earns its keep on the homestead, its card grows: what it cost, how it held up, and what we'd change.

  3. Our own, labeled as ours

If we ever offer something made by our own hands, it will be clearly labeled Made by us.
